Huge Crowds, Huge Hit!

The Expo, now in it's 4th year, continues to grow and hosted over 60,000 Southern Californians. Along with free valuable health tests, screenings and information, attendees enjoyed action packed stages and fun activities. Glaxo Smith Kline, Expo Co-Sponsor offered six free health tests including: BMI, Blood Pressure, Lung Function, Cholesterol, Glucose Bone Density and Carbon Monoxide screenings. Co-Sponsor Saturn sponsored the "Going Green Pavilion" which featured their hybrid and low fuel consuming vehicles as well as Sharp Solar Energy, Southern California Gas Company and various Non Profits dedicated to protecting our planet. The Babies R Us Mom & Baby Pavilion was active and popular with baby safety products, furniture and clothing, and speaker stage. Bally Total Fitness provided free testing and expert exercise information. Ballys also sponsored the Demonstration Stage which they kept hopping with high energy, fun exercise demos. Nearly 100 Exhibitors were kept busy speaking and interacting with the very receptive attendees. But fun was also on the top of everyone's list. The Rock Climbing wall, Golf, Soccer and Football areas were busy. NBC and Telemundo anchors, Days of Our Lives Stars, musicians and Fitness Experts all turned out to meet and greet. Three Dance and Demo stages drew large audiences. The Nemo Dream Mobile had the younger set (and some of the older ones!) laughing and interacting with Nemo characters. Plan on attending or participating next year as the Expo continues to grow and offer more and more. A su salud! To your health!
