Yoshino Cherry Tree planted at Shriners Hospital for Children
SALT LAKE
CITY (ABC 4 News) - In celebration of Arbor Day, a Yoshino Cherry Tree is standing tall at Shriners Hospital for Children in Salt Lake City.
The tree was dedicated Friday, right after it was planted right in front of the hospital.
The tree was donated by the Salt LakeCity Urban Forestry Division. It chose Shriners because of the hospital's dedication to helping children with complex medical needs.
The Yoshino Cherry Tree blossoms in the spring and will be a sign of new beginnings.
