This weekend the Rim of the World Masonic Lodge 711 will be having their annual BBQ fundraiser for the children’s hospital.
These Masons begin this project months ahead of the date and spend days slowwwwwwww cooking the meat in a closed pit.
All the money is used to benefit the mountain and the children’s hospital. If you get an opportunity, this weekend take a little time and come out and enjoy great food, great people and great entertainment…plus you can see me serving food to the hungry masses. Come out from 12 noon to 5 pm and meet our mountain folks and take in a little of that down-home hospitality that our mountains are famous for.
