Casper Shriners offer free medical screening

Shriners will offer free medical screening from 9a.m.-2 p.m. Oct. 8 at the Casper Shrine Club, on 39th Street behind the Sunrise Shopping Center. Shriners Hospitals for Children offers treatment for orthopedic conditions, burns, spinal cord injuries and cleft lip and palate regardless of a patient's or family's ability to pay. Orthopedic surgeon Steven Orcutt, M.D., along with other medical personnel, will examine children from birth to age 18 to determine acceptance, which is based solely on a child's medical needs.
