Shriners Burn Surgeon Dr. Tina Palmieri, Assistant Chief of Burns at Shriners Hospital & Director of the UC Davis Burn Center, has just completed her term as president of the American Burn Association. Her work is remarkable on many fronts and we will talk with her about how events in our lives impact the delivery of health care. She is an expert in emergency response, a practicing proponent of collaboration, a researcher heading a center for outcomes research here in Sacramento, a stellar record of achievement in burn prevention.
