On March 7th, Sandia Mountain Lodge (1638 University NE, next door to UNM Continuing Ed, behind the Grand Lodge offices) will take part in a state-wide open house of Masonic Lodges from 10am-3pm. The Lodge will be open to the general public to come by, talk to Masons about the fraternity, ask questions, and see the Lodge room.
This is our way of reaching out to the community and providing an opportunity for those interested to get a taste of what Freemasonry is all about!
Freemasonry has played an important part in American history, from the founding of the nation, through the Civil War and Reconstruction era, in the Civil Rights movements, and to the present time.
Please come by to have a look and enjoy our hospitality.
