"The Night of the Child" at www.nightofthechild.org continues to move along and make progress toward the November 13th date. The doors open at 4:00pm with Casino opening at 4:30 and open until 7:30pm. We have a jam-packed night with Casino, great dinner like last year and we will start serving dinner at 7:00pm with salads and your entree at 7:30pm.
Our Emcee for the evening will be Destry Jetton, the Host/anchor for Channel 12 Midday Arizona. Channel 12 and Lin Sue Cooney have been super in helping support our Benefit. We will probably have camera people there that evening and hopefully pictures on Channel 12 the following Monday.
Our guest speaker for the evening will be Congressman Trent Franks and if you have never heard him before, he has a great story to tell. In addition, we will have some of our talented Shrine Children who will perform with a couple of songs and a video, which really tells the story on what we do as Shriners to help our kids.
We will have a number of raffles and blitz's going on during the evening along with live and silent auction. We have some great items this year. If you are on FACEBOOK, Night of the Child has a page and has pictures posted on there of items that we will have at the Benefit.
We have opened up more seats and have Individual, Reserved and Sponsor tables or seats available. You can go on line www.nightofthechild.org to purchase any of them or give Mick Degn a call at 602-312-4554.
We are still looking for some donation items to use in the event and if anyone can help us in that area, it would be appreciated.
Thank you for your support on the Benefit "The Night of the Child" and if you are looking for tickets, it is not too late, but don't delay. This is going to be a great night for the Shrine. You don't want to miss it...
