SCREENING CLINIC FOR SHRINERS HOSPITALS Nov.6

Screening Clinic for Shriners Hospitals for Children
Where and when? At the PacMed Clinic, 601 South Carr Road, Renton WA
Saturday, November 6th from 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon.
Screening children from birth to age 18 needing care for any of the following: orthopedic, burn restoration, spinal cord injury, and Cleft lip and Palate. As you know there is never a charge for any service at a Shriners hospital. Transportation is provided to hospitals for a child and a parent if an individual situation requires it. One only has to ask. The closest orthopedic hospitals are in Portland and Spokane. The hospital in Sacramento is a Burn service hospital as well as all orthopedic needs listed below:

Scoliosis Orthogenesis Imperfecta (Brittle bones) one )
Fractures Legg Perthes Disease
Cerebral palsy Variety of Neuromuscular Diseases
Rickets Dislocated hips
Absent arm/leg Club Feet
Myelodysplasia Head Injuries
Muscular Dystrophy Short legs
Hand, Leg or Back problems Cleft lip and Palate
Spinal Cord Injury Rehabilitation Burn Scars
Sports Injuries, bones, muscles, tendons
The PacMed Clinic in the four story green glass building one block up the hill from the Valley General Medical Center traffic light.
Applications are available at Shrinershq.org and at the clinic. Non-english speaking parents should bring an English speaking sibling or translator.
