Nothing speaks to the gift of Shriners Hospitals for Children more eloquently than the successes of our patients.
C.J. Severson drew the largest ovation at his high school graduation when he stepped out of his wheelchair and walked across the stage using a walker to get his diploma. (See attached news article from the Daily Courier in Grants Pass, Oregon.)
When C.J. and his parents came for a clinic visit this week, Dr. Davidson asked C.J. to walk for him. The SCI team was there to cheer every step of the way. Matt Harrison captured the moment in pictures.
