Masons donate $1,000 to Sutter Creek schools
In recognition of Public Schools Month, April, Henry Clay Masonic Lodge, in Sutter Creek, provided Sutter Creek Elementary School with $1,000, to purchase library books for the 2013-2014 school year. Principal Sean Snider accepted the check from Art Long, Master of Henry Clay Lodge. The funds are expected to put about 50 new books, selected by the school, in the hands of students at the beginning of the next school year. The purchase will be divided between the two elementary school campus libraries, providing all students with the opportunity to read the new books.
